The Impact Of Crime In Ghana By Judges, Armed Robbers And Politicians

Armed robbery, over the past years, has increased in Ghana. Victims of this social crime experience different kinds of effects, including, depression, anger, fear, psychological effects, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety through shock and the loss of trust in the police community and society.

Arrested armed robbers, chicken and goat thieves, in Ghana, have to face justice at the law court and when found guilty of the crime they committed, they are sentenced to prison to serve time, ranging from two to five years. However, you will be shocked to know what these judges do.

The judges that put those armed robbers, chicken, and goat thieves behind bars for various crimes are the same judges that receive bribes and throw out cases in favour of high people in society. They are the same people that receive all kinds of gifts, including goats and sheep in their houses to rule in favour of the guilty.

What is the difference between a stolen goat and taking a goat bribe from the guilty to set him free? Both are serious crimes before mankind and the Almighty God we don’t see.

Partial ruling in Ghanaian courts exists throughout the country. Without money, you can’t get justice, without paying a bribe you can’t get a job and some without sleeping with female applicants, they will deny the women jobs.

All such crimes take place daily in our communities in Ghana but because nobody sees those involved people kowtow, praise and jubilate when they those corrupt politicians and judges.

In his flashy car, oh yes, here comes the Minister of this and that but nobody knows how their corruptible activities keep draining the economy, denying people of employment and development the country needs.

Insecurity and other unsolved social problems in Ghana have caused much havoc and fear in the country, persuading the police force to apply new rules and measures to restrict the activities of armed robbery in the country, unfortunately, the draconian regulatory measures have been completely unsuccessful.

However, it is not only armed robbers that contribute to the sinking of the country but also law enforcement officers, judges and politicians are also involved. It is often said that a lawless and corrupt society generates crime. It’s not an exaggeration because an effective judiciary system reduces crime and protects the people.

Politicians in Ghana, especially those in power, know how to make money to add it to their fat salaries and bonuses at the expense of the suffering masses.

Ghana loses millions of dollars each year in organized crime and corruption, through Over invoice, inflating the costs of projects, doing shoddy works to generate maximum profit and receiving and paying bribes to award contracts.

In reality, if the law works or effective, all politicians involved in the above-mentioned crimes must be relieved of their posts and be thrown to jail if found guilty but not Ghana.

The criminal politicians and the judges keep serving the nation. How do people expect the country to grow with such people in management? Ghana is indeed a very sad country and the worst scenario is those who attack writers for speaking the truth.

Judges and politicians are equally criminals like the armed robbers because they all contribute to the destruction of society and the economy of a country. The only difference between them is armed robbers use guns and they use a pen.

There will be a time, Ghana will be the worst country than Nigeria, with all their treasures and oil discovery because the country is under heartless leaders whose main political ideology is to fill their pockets and put their families in the right places.

After that, they go to the churches and mosques to worship whatever God they serve but God can’t be fooled. Whatever evil one sows the same he shall reap. When your night turns to day, all Ghanaians will shout with one voice: “Onyame ehuoooooooo!”
