We would be ushering in the New Year (2020) in a few days to come. The political atmosphere would begin charging. The current government would be cutting sod for new projects as can be seen in recent times in the hope of commissioning them in 2020. Never can we be fooled again!
Why do politicians wait till election year that they start cutting sod and commissioning of projects? I think NPP led by President Akufo Addo never learned anything from the erstwhile administration. Former President Mahama did the same and had to pay for that. Mahama learned his lesson the hard way.
Like the President packed all the ambulances awaiting the usual ceremony of commissioning for cheap political gains while the citizens are dying. The same can be said about the sod-cutting in recent times and in the hope of commissioning these projects in 2020 for cheap political gains again. Someone should tell President Akufo Addo that, we cannot be fooled especially in this day and age.
We shall neither jubilate for the President commissioning any project come 2020 nor shall we applaud him. I believe it is only some sycophant bootlicking NPP members who would do otherwise. The majority of Ghanaians know how mediocre NPP is.
I would suggest the following to well-meaning Ghanaians and floating voters while we are about to usher in the election year (2020):
- Never celebrate commissioning of any project by Nana Akufo Addo come 2020. (It is long overdue and a ploy to hold back what is rightfully yours).
- For those who lost their love once during the period that the President order for the ambulances to be packed should be angry and vote against the NPP. (The President does not seek your welfare).
- When presented with money by NPP, kindly take it, thank whoever gave the money and vote against them. (It is your own money).
We cannot be fooled again.
I shall return.

You didn't attach much common sense to your write - up (article )cos one gets the impression that you're in the pay books of the NDC. from the very onset. I stopped reading after the third paragraph cos it's so shallow.
