Brong Ahafo Regional Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Seth Asare Bediako has called on the party’s leadership to intervene in the decision made by the Brong Ahafo Regional First Vice Chairman of the party, Kwame Baffoe, to quit from speaking for the party in the media for unfair treatment and neglect.

He said Kwame Baffoe, also known as ‘Abronye DC’ has been thorn in the flesh of the main opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the region and beyond, and his pivotal role played during the 2016 general elections accounted for the party’s victory at both regional and national.

Abronye DC recently bashed at the party over recent developments bringing his continuous defense in the media to a halt.

According to him, the party has been unfair, neglected, been grievous and vicious towards him which has informed his latest decision to indefinitely suspend all active communication roles in defending it.

Speaking to Otec News’ Kwaku Anane Junior on Monday, August 13, 2018, Asare Bediako said Abronye has been commitment and dedicated member who has defended the party at all platforms available, and it was through him that the party won majority seats in Parliament in the Brong Ahafo region, and his withdrawal from the Communication Team will surely affects the fortunes in the region during the 2020 general elections.

“During the 2016 campaign, Abronye DC launched ‘Operation 20 Parliamentary Seat for NPP’ in the Brong Ahafo region, and through hard work, he succeeded. At our recent regional elections he launched ‘Operation 25 Parliamentary Seat’ in the region, a task we believe without his contribution, will be hard to achieve as a Regional Communications Director of the party’, he observed.

“Abronye has become an icon of communications for the party because of his persuasive prowess and his decision to quit from his continue defense for the party shouldn’t be taken lightly,” he warned.

“I am passionately appealing to the National Executives to step in for amicable solution to address this matter to ward off any unforeseeable disaster,” he concluded.
