The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) 'serial callers' in the Ellembelle Constituency of the Western Region have backed Kwame Baffoe Abronye's decision to stop communicating for the party.

The Maverick Brong Ahafo Regional First Vice Chairman, Kwame Baffoe popularly known as Abronye DC on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 posted on his official facebook wall that the NPP party has neglected him hence hanging his boots of defending the party on radio indefinitely.

According to him, the party has been unfair, neglected, been grievous and vicious towards him which has informed his latest decision to indefinitely suspend all active communication roles in defending it.

In a post on his facebook, said “ I have decided to indefinitely suspend all active communication role in defending the New Patriotic Party. This decision has been necessary because of the unfair, bad, neglect, grievous and vicious treatment I have received from the party. I will only be active to undertake my duties as the First Vice Chairman of my Noble Region. (B/A).

Finally, I won’t be active on radio and TV defending NPP like I have always done. Thank you”

Speaking to the media, a die hard NPP's serial caller, Mr. Joshua Akpolley popularly known as Agbona said that as serial callers of the party, they are jobless under their own government.

He indicated that they are not even supported with phone credits to broadcast the work that the government is doing.

He opined that what Abronye DC did was 100 percent and added that they support him.

He alleged that some party's gurus are using money on girls instead of supporting them but have failed to do so.

Mr. Akpolley said if a whole Abronye DC has been neglected then what about they the serial callers who are learning from him and said they don't have any future in the party.

"We have been neglected and we support Abronye DC 100% and they think our work is easy, we always depend the party on radio stations in our areas, we have Ministers in Nzema here but they don't check us. In opposition we used our own money to buy airtime to defend the party and still we are using our pocket money to buy airtime to defend the party but we are jobless and we are hungry. We have a Regional Chairman who is from Nzema here but still we don't see anything, if they don't mind us, we will keep mute and for now we have also stopped calling on radio stations to defend the party to show solidarity to Abronye DC", he lamented.

He said, "Abronye DC has been defending the party every blessed day and yet still not a single contract has been giving to him and our leaders think 2020 is easy, if they want us to win the 2020 general elections then they should take care of us".

He added that if leaders of the party continue to neglect them, they would advise themselves.

However, the leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministry who is also a sympathizer of the party, Rev. Owusu Bempah has also opined that he has been neglected by the party and has promised not to defend the party again.

But, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, has pleaded with two people to forgive the party for neglecting them.

Boasiako, better known as Chairman Wontumi, stated that claims by top party official, Abronye DC, and Rev. Owusu Bempah, the leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministry, of neglect by the party are valid.

The pastor and party communicator have accused the NPP of closing its doors to people who supported the party to win power.

He however asked them to exercise patience as the government implements measures to build the economy.
