Maverick Brong Ahafo Regional First Vice Chairman Kwame Baffoe popularly known as Abronye DC has opined that a renowned gay rights activist Andrew Solomon who has allegedly has had some form of association with former President John Dramani Mahama is financially sponsoring the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) “Unity Walk”.

According to him, the American journalist and author, Andrew Solomon who is married to a man is injecting heavy loads of cash into the NDC’ unity walk so that the party can win the 2020 general elections in order to legalize same-sex marriage in Ghana.

“Am telling you that if the National Democratic Congress (NDC) wins the 2020 general elections they will legalize same – sex marriage in Ghana that is why Andrew Solomon is sponsoring the unity walk” he revealed this on UTV late news and monitored by Daniel Kaku on 30th April, 2018.

Kwame Baffoe comments come after the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketia, claimed that President Akufo-Addo has approved gay marriage.

The NDC secretary, speaking at the party’s Unity Walk in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, claimed President Akfuo-Addo in the 2016 elections promised Ghanaian youth marriage.

“Now you know what is coming,” he asked rethorically. “I won’t talk about it.” Seconds later, he declared falsely: “Nana Addo says men will marry men, and women will marry women.”

But Abronye DC described Aseidu Nketia as a class one pupil.

“Aseidu Nketia spoke like a class one pupil how can you say the president Akuffo Addo has approved same-sex marriage in Ghana? Where is the document that proves that the president has approved homosexuality in the country”, he quizzed.

He said if any party has plans to legalize same-sex marriage in Ghana, is the NDC government that is why a renowned gay rights activist Andrew Solomon is financially sponsoring the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) “Unity Walk”.

According to him, President Nana Addo Dankwa Addo-Dankwa is committed to safeguarding the cultural and moral discipline of this country.

He therefore, called on Ghanaians to be rest assured as the ruling NPP has no ties with any gay right activists.
