UTV Ghana ranked as 2017 Most Influential TV Channel on Social Media

UTV Ghana has ranked as the Most Influential TV Channel in Ghana in the 2017 Ghana Social Media Rankings spearheaded by Avance Media, CliQAfrica, Eazzy Social and Dream Ambassadors Foundation GH.

UTV Ghana, a member of the Despite media group rose from the 5th position in 2016 to its current leading spot and was the most followed TV channel in 2017 with over 1.2 Million followers after gaining additional 504,479 new followers across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Following keenly is Adom TV which recorded 208,030 new followers in 2017.

Debutant Kwese TV Ghana, which was previously known as Viasat1 TV Ghana lost a record of 81,776 followers across Social Media in their rebranding year.

The ranking which is based on the GSMR Score was analysed from their Social Media followings, Growth Difference, Engagements, Post Reaches and Mentions.

The 2017 Ghana Social Media Rankings was conducted by Avance Media, CliQAfrica, Eazzy Social and Dream Ambassadors Foundation GH in partnership Pearl Richards Foundation.
