Accra, March 15, GNA - Ghana joined communities across the 52 member countries of the Commonwealth of Nations to mark the Commonwealth Day 2017.
The annual celebration of the Commonwealth's shared values was on the theme: 'A Peace-building Commonwealth'.
A statement issued by the British High Commission in Accra and copied to the Ghana News Agency said: "In London, the Head of the Commonwealth, Queen Elizabeth II, lead festivities at the UK's largest inter-faith celebration at Westminster Abbey.
'The Queen was accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry, The Duke of York and The Earl of Wessex,' the statement added. GNA
