A citizen of Alavanyo and a patron of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Ellis Prince Antsroe, has donated an office complex to the party in the Hohoe constituency to help facilitate party activities ahead of the general elections.
The office equipped with modern office equipment including computers, electronic television and office furniture was commissioned by the Paramount Chief of Alavanyo Traditional Area, Togbega Tsedze Atakora.

In an interview with Citi News. Mr. Antsroe said the office apart from serving as one of the venues for party activities would likewise put the New Patriotic Party in a better position to closely engage members of the community which has been identified as one of the flashpoints in the Volta Region to consolidate the various peace efforts being made by other stakeholders.

At a mini rally held at the forecourts of the New Office, the Parliamentary Candidate of the NPP in the Hohoe Constituency, Mr. Malon Anipa charged party sympathisers to work hard in unity towards the attainment of their electoral goals in the upcoming general elections.

Togbega Tsedze Atakora who was worried over the political tensions in the country in his address advised residents to exercise political tolerance during campaigns and engage in politics of ideas and not insults.
