
The china embassy has received with passion the Tijaniyya Muslim Councils of Ghana’s mission of empowering the youth in skills training and entrepreneurship. This came to light when the President and spiritual leader of Tijaniyya Council led delegation to pay a courtesy call on the Ambassador in Accra.
The Public Relation Officer detailed the council’s mission on emancipation of the youth from the challenges of unemployment facing the country. Abubakar Baban Yara says the council has teaming youth followers to be skilled with vocational and technical knowhow as well as entrepreneurships.
He added that the council enrols two great events annually which is the celebration of the life of Sheikh Ahmad Tijani and the recitation of the Holy Qur’an for Peace and Tranquillity to prevail in Ghana, Africa and the world as a whole.
This has been running for over forty and fifty years respectively. The chairman of the council who doubles as the deputy regional Imam of the Upper east Sheikh Tahiru Saeed underscores the need for developing partners to collaborate with the council to enable it continue with its good works.
His Eminece Shiekh Abul-Faidi Ahmad Maikano thanked the ambassador for the reception and audience granted him and his entourage. He reiterated the fact that what bothers him most is his mission on the Youth skills training and entrepreneurship for his teeming youth.
He therefore urges all those who share this sentiment to collaborate for its advancement. . On her part the Ambassador was of praise to the President and the council for the bold step taken on the youth.
Her Excellency Madam Sun Boahongs said her country is already offering economic and business assistance to Ghana and welcome the council’s mission. She promised to work closely with the council.
Present at the meeting were some of the youth including shekh Hadi, Mr Yusif and Adam the Media Relation Officer Muhammed Muhtari Ibrahim.
