The Mystery Of The Source

Ones upon a time on a watsapp group Mr. Young Warrior posted an update. The content of this update was meant to draw the attention of members of the group to an outbreak of a disease condition as well as advise members on precautionary measures against the disease.

The group was silent for close to an hour. One could have assumed that members had absorbed the content of the post and were meditating on the havoc been cause by the outbreak. Little was it known that many members were actually contemplating on where the information was coming from. I mean the source of the information.

Mr. Hit Man a member of the group was the first to break the salience. With the question, Source of information please? According to Mr. Hit Man the information had the tendency of causing unnecessary panic so he was much interested in the source.

The reluctance of Mr. Young Warrior in naming his source pushed Mr. Hit man to declare that the information was highly unauthenticated and as such should be treated with contempt. The group was set agog as if many members just woke up from some sort of slumber.

Then the mysterious question “what is the source” begun to roar its ugly head. Many insisted Mr. Young Warrior should name his source or retract his information which one could realize had already caused some fear and panic among the group members taking into consideration the emphatic nature with which they demanded for the source.

In an attempt to answering the source question, Mr. Son of God another dynamic member of the group managed to source some sources to the information posted by Mr. Young Warrior. His sources were able to calm some nerves but the question of the relevance of providing the sources of information still continued.

Many begun to wonder whether if any group member have information without a source he/she could share it with the group. Well this question still remains unanswered because members will continue to demand for sources to any information posted on the page.

Well, don’t ask me the source of what I have written because I do not know the source. We are all are practicing “Doubting Thomas Intellectualism” as propounded by Hercules another dignified member of the group. We may have to look for Pythagoras to explain what ‘‘doubting Thomas intellectualism’’ is to us because he understands Hercules better. But hey, never buy pork in a sack.
