The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong was booed by party supporters who have gathered at the Asylum Down headquarters of the party following an alleged night raid by unidentified men.
He had arrived at the headquarters at about 10:35am following news of the raid, but the crowd at the entrance of the party office quickly turned their attention on him, jeering and castigating him. They hooted at him as he sought to enter the place.
With his driver unable to drive into the premises as the crowd banged on the vehicle, Kwabena Agyepong got down and was led in by the police who have been stationed there all morning since news of the break-in emerged.
His driver, soon followed in, and after about 25 minutes, the pair drove out and left, with the police in close contact.
