Ghanaian youngster Divine Naah reveals he had to alter his attacking style of football for a more defensive role in order to get regular games at NAC Breda.

The 18-year-old is enjoying a good run of regular games in the Dutch top flight having impressed on his NAC debut late last month.

Naah, a graduate of the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana is on his second successive loan spell since signing for English giants Manchester City in 2014.

The young midfielder gem nicknamed 'Mallam' is however enjoying his greatest run of regular games at NAC.

Naah reveals he had to change his attacking style to a more defensive mould to fit into the plans of NAC Breda coach Robert Maaskant.

“I have had to change my style a bit to fit into the coach's plans,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I play more defensively nowadays even though I like to be more offensive.”

The Ghana U20 prospect believes the change will make him a better player with his learning versatility.

“I think it is a good thing for me because now I can play both offensive and defensive roles in the midfield and it is making be get more playing time,” he added.
