
As part of its commitment to create a cashless society, guarantee safety and convenience of the frequent travelling public, Stanbic Bank Ghana has launched another innovative product, the MoneyWallet Multi-Currency Card to its range of products.
The Multi-Currency Card which is the first of its kind in Ghana offers frequent travelers and business people around the globe the opportunity to have access to four different foreign currencies including the US Dollar, British Pound, Euro and the South African Rand on a single card.
The innovation according to the bank would provide more convenience, safety and comfort customers by eliminating the hustles associated with carrying hard notes.
Speaking at the launch, the Head of Personal and Business Banking of Stanbic, Nana Dwemoh Benneh said the introduction of the MoneyWallet was just one of the many solutions the bank intends to outdoor this year to enhance the customers' way of doing business.
''we are in the market to provide state of the art solutions for our customers to help improve their lives'' he stated.
Mr Nii Odartey Lamptey, Manager of Transactional Products said Stanbic Bank would continue to encourage all to use cards more because it offers more advantages to customers, the general public and the country as a whole.
The new smart Multi-Currency MoneyWallet Card which is a product of Stanbic bank`s collaboration with Mastercard can be used for Point of Sale purchases and ATM cash withdrawals at more than 36.9 million locations in over 210 countries across the globe.
The stanbic Bank Multi-Currency Card is exceptional for a number of reasons including the following;
It avoids forex and cross country fluctuations costs when moving between regions where it accepted, Customers can load several times as much as possible, 24 hour service assistance available to customers irrespective of their location; the currency automatically switches for easy accessibility whenever the customer travels to another region.
The Stanbic MoneyWallet is instantly acquired and activated upon purchase at any branch of the bank and has a five year lifespan. The launch was jointly performed by the Chief Executive of Stanbic Bank, Ghana, Mr Alhassan Andani and Mr Lincoln Mali, Head of Stanbic, West Africa Region.
