The explosion is nothing but explosion of two tankers and a bus which were parked close to the filling station AA Rano in Asokoro but may not be owned by the station.
The incident happened after the station had closed for the day. The fire was put out by combination of NSCDC & other security agencies including fire service.
The fire incident occurred after the network news while it was finally put out around 11:40pm on Friday night.
The 3 vehicles are ABUJA KWL 951 XA, 412 MKA and the bus NBB 82 XA.. There were two drums and a rubber container and generator inside the bus which shows that the vehicles might probably owned by vandals.
The quick responses of emergency unit of NSCDC helps in control the fire to avert the major disaster in that area.
