The timely intervention of the Ghana Fire Service averted another fatal fire disaster at the Makola Annex Two, popularly known as Tudu market in Accra.
Fire service personnel on Tuesday evening were able to put out the fire before it could spread.
It is still not clear the cause of the fire, but Daily Guide has learnt that most of the items destroyed were cosmetic products and clothes.
There was no major casualty, but this comes barely three days after the Kantamanto was also reduced to ashes following a wild fire which swept through the entire stretch of the market.
The fire, according to eyewitnesses, started around 19:00 GMT on Tuesday.
