Accra, Oct. 28, GNA - The National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Tuesday extended condolences to the family of Prince Abdul Hannan Adams and the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) for the loss of a son and a President.
"By his death, the nation has been robbed of the talents and services of yet another budding future leader of this country, the NDC stated in a press statement signed by its Deputy General Secretary Mr Bede A. Ziedeng in Accra.
The statement noted that most of the leaders of this country have had their apprenticeship training, whilst providing leadership for their colleagues students in school before graduating into national leaders. "It is most regrettable that his untimely departure will deny the current crop of students his leadership qualities at a time when the student body is faced with enormous challenges.
"The loss is not only painful and irreparable, it also serves to remind all road users, particularly drivers of the need to exercise even more care on the roads to minimize mindless and avoidable deaths through accidents", the statement said.
