Accra , Sept. 25, GNA -Former National Democratic Congress Members of Parliament (MPs) in the Fourth Republic have formed a caucus of “former MPs”, aiming to assist the ruling party to win the December elections.
Consequently, John Jagri Kokpah, former MP for Zabzugu-Tatale, has been nominated as the Coordinator of the Northern Regional caucus of group and would be meeting with his colleagues to brainstorm on strategies to enhance the party's success in the region.
“We have a lot of expertise that our party can tap from to win this year's election.....and we don't want to sit aloof whilst the party needs all the help it can get to make the December elections successful”, said Mr Jagri Kokpah.
According to him,“We are a very important group for the success of the NDC in this election and therefore we should not be forgotten”.
He urged his colleagues numbering about 19 to “gird their lions” to ensure that the NDC victory in the upcoming polls was “overwhelmingly resounding”.
