General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, has suggested that President John Mahama could undertake additional changes within his administration to improve government efficiency.
He said some adjustments had already been made, including changes to appointments to various boards, and indicated that further movements could be expected.
Speaking on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Mr Kwetey declined to confirm whether he had held discussions with the President about a possible government reshuffle.
“I wouldn’t disclose whether that conversation has happened or not,” he said.
However, he hinted that the administration could see more changes as part of efforts to improve its operations and effectiveness.
“Don’t be too surprised if you see a bit more of those movements in order to ensure that there’s far more efficiency in government,” he added.
