Glo Premiership champions for the year 2011/2012 Kumasi Asante Kotoko are planning to move their camping base from Adukrom Akuapem to the National Sports College in Winneba this Friday. www.lloydsplaza.com can confirm.
Speaking to the Greater Accra Representative of the club Nana Kwame Dankwah this morning he confirmed that the club is yet to settle on one of two venues available to the club and that talks are far advanced so the club will issue a statement soon.
“We have not settled on a venue yet but hopefully the club will come out soon to announce where we are going to continue with our off season camping”, Nana Kwame said. But according to a tight lipped source the red army will surely be in the central region, Winneba to be precise.
Asante Kotoko has a good relationship with the National Academy which has transferred some young but talented players like Ganiyu Haruna, Samuel Inkoom, Michael Anaba and Eric Donkoh.
