Accra, July 27, GNA - Alhaji Ibrahim Mahama, a Lawyer and Opinion Leader in Dagbon in the Northern Region has expressed grave shock about the news of the demise of President John Evans Atta Mills.
“He was my good friend and schoolmate,” he said in statement issued in Accra on Friday.
“Ghana has indeed lost an excellent and irreplaceable son and servant. I send my heartfelt sympathy and condolence to his family, party members and the new President of the Ghana, His Excellency, Mr John Dramani Mahama.
“I pray for strength and endurance for the family and the party in their moment of great shock. And may the leadership of his party, and government of our country endeavour to continue the good work and governance he commenced a little over three years ago,” Alhaji Mahama concluded.
