Anyako (V/R), May 13, GNA - Mr Edmund Doe Gbetodeme, Keta Municipal Director of Education, on Saturday inaugurated an ultra modern Information Communication Technology (ICT) centre, for the Evangelical Presbyterian (E.P) Basic School at Anyako.
The GH¢ 17, 300 worth ICT centre was built by the Anaglate family in memory of the late Christopher K. Anaglate.
Mr Gbetodeme commended the family for the initiative, and advised the school children to make good use of the facility, to improve their academic performance, and said: “you now have no excuse, but to perform better like pupils in the big cities and towns.”
Mr Gbetodeme asked parents to invest in the education of their children, to enable them to acquire skills and knowledge required for national development.
Mr Ebenezer Dzikunu, Volta Regional Director of E.P Schools, commended the Anaglate family for the gesture, and advised pupils to take good care of the facility.
Mr David Anaglate, Head of the Anaglate family in Ghana, said the late Christopher K. Anaglate was a blessing to the family, through whom the members could now boast of lawyers, doctors and other professionals.
