The crowbar-wielding Daniel Obinim of the International God's Way Church is in fresh trouble for throwing a challenge that no man of God in Ghana can face him in a miracle competition.

'After having sex with someone's wife, he is not sorry but rather bragging that he has made the baby of his adulterous partner crippled for life and that no pastor can reverse that curse. Go and tell him that I Kwaku Bonsam, have his types and that I want to spare the genuine pastors the shame so I have accepted his challenge.

'I dare him to face me and I would cure the child and shame him, and all Ghanaians would know that the God of Israel is not with Obinim,' the dreaded fetish priest told NEWS-ONE yesterday.

Obinim, who is currently on bail, reportedly grabbed a crowbar and invaded a private radio station to assault innocent people and vandalize property.

In explaining his assault, Obinim revealed that he had invoked a curse on an innocent child because he committed adultery with the child's mother and she was threatening to make that public.

He bragged that he was an anointed man of God and dared any Ghanaian pastor to challenge him in a miracle working contest.

But dreaded fetish priest Kwaku Bonsam has called Obinim's bluff and accused him of dragging the name of God into disrepute.

The fetish priest has accepted the challenge and dared Obinim to name a venue and date. The fetish priest said his first miracle would be to cure the boy Obinim confessed he had cursed with the spirit of lunacy and also made a cripple.

'When genuine men of God like Bishop Agyin Asare and the rest are talking, Obinim should have shut up and listened rather than behave as if he is called. He should read his Bible well and he would know that not all miracles are from God so the fact that he can work miracles does not mean he is a man of God.

'I have his types and they also work miracles and Obinim knows this. I am sad that after sleeping with someone's wife, he is rather behaving like a spoilt child who has no respect for Ghanaian culture and traditions. I have accepted his challenge. I would face him and prove that the God of Heaven cannot be dragged into his dirty activities,' Bonsam stated in Twi language.

Though Obinim has confessed having sex with the wife of a junior pastor of his church, he claims the adultery happened some five years ago and that he has since stopped bonking her. But General Secretary of the Ghana Pentecostal Council, Apostle Samuel Antwi on Wednesday stated publicly that when the matter came before the council, there was overwhelming evidence that Obinim continued to have sex with the wife of the junior pastor, and even continued when she was pregnant.

Baako, Randy Ask Metro To Sack Obinim
Randy Abbey, Host of Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV and Kweku Baako, Editor In Chief of the New Crusading Guide, have called on the station to distance itself from the activities of Daniel Obinim and stop allowing him to use the station to popularize his activities.

The two have explained that though Metro TV has a commercial interest, it would be in the station and most Ghanaians' interest and in the interest of majority of Ghanaians if it does not allow Obinim to use Metro TV to advance his ungodly activities.
