The alleged victim of the sex scandal involving the head of the Volta Region branch of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has turned to occults (juju) for justice which she claims is eluding her.
Charlotte Kumi is angry at the slow pace of investigations and alleged attempt to cover up what she claims is a barefaced and unwarranted sexual harassment she suffered at the hands of the NADMO boss - Henry Ametepe - and is therefore seeking help from cults from her hometown in the Volta Region.
Kumi accused Henry Ametepe of making several sexual advances at her and when she resisted; he masterminded her transfer to the Northern Region.
She refused to report to her new station but filed a complaint at the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) for investigation and adjudication.
Even before CHRAJ will complete investigations into the matter, NADMO has terminated her appointment for failing to report to duty in the Northern Region.
NADMO again disputed the claims by the alleged victim. A committee set up to investigate the alleged sexual misconduct concluded the allegations were tramped up.
The Public Relations Officer of NADMO, Major Nicholas Mensah explained the transfer of Kumi to the Northern Region was merely a normal routine all public servants go through and not an attempt to victimize her.
He said his outfit complying with the code of the public service had to stop paying Ms Kumi her salary because she failed to report to duty ten clear days after she was transferred transferred.
Charlotte Kumi is convinced she will not get a fair hearing from CHRAJ and NADMO and has therefore taken the matter to the spiritual realm for answers.
“Because of what they are doing - the CHRAJ and investigators from NADMO, they want to [cover-up] so I also went to my home town and put the case in African court,” she told Joy News' Araba Koomson.
“What I told the African court is that the case I am presenting is the truth, is the fact. I don't have anything bad in mind to victimize anybody.
“But the whole thing is that anybody that will try to cover the case… something should happen to the person.
“…As I am talking to you three people are dead already,” she declared, and more will follow if those associated with the case do not confess, she added.
Joy News cannot immediately and independently confirm the alleged mysterious deaths.
CHRAJ has meanwhile opened fresh investigations into the matter.

Asem beba dabi. They have started dying...it serves them right. How can you put an innocent poor civil servant lady in this situation and finally sack her? They should not think that they can escape this.
