Emmanuel Odoom, the Account Director of MediaCom (Ghana), the leading independent media strategy, planning and buying agency in Ghana, has arrived in the country from South Africa after a five-day training session with the parent company, MediaCom South Africa.
The training formed part of measures instituted by the company to increase the depth, skills and knowledge of its staff.
Whiles in South Africa, Mr. Odoom worked with the team of MediaCom South and also held meetings with some of the mutual clients of the company.
According to him, the visit has enabled him to expand his account management capabilities which he believes will facilitate the effectiveness of his performance at work “which will go a long way to increase the company's account portfolio”.
“The training has also provided me with the avenue to explore other media novelty which has become critical for any cutting edged integrated marketing company in this fast paced technological world”, Mr. Odoom said.
The General Manager of MediaCom Ghana, Mr. Andrew Ackah said the company operates on three key philosophies. “These are to focus on consumers, our clients and our staff and therefore this new direction is in fulfillment of the later” he noted.
He said the core mandate of MediaCom is to provide effective marketing communications, media spaces for its client's brands through an efficient use and management of the available budget.
“We understand marketing first before media and that's why we are able to deliver the most essential and skilled services that our clients will not second to any other agency” Mr. Ackah iterated.
