
Ghana U20 defender Jonathan Mensah has been loaned to Spanish second divsion side Granada, according to reports in Italy.
The 19-year-old was loaned out by Italian side Udinese for six months to enable him get regular playing time, a report in Calciomercato said.
Udinese have exhausted their quota of foreign players and will be unalbe to use the Ghanaian defender.
The loan stint at the Spanish side to keep him fit until he returns to the club at the start of next season.
He will make the move to Granada during the January transfer window as he makes his first career in Europe.
Mesnah joined Udinese from South African side Free State Stars and impressed at the U20 World Cup in Egypt two months ago.
His performance at the tournament attracted interest from the Italians who moved to clinch his signature.
Mensah's compatriot Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, who also joined Udinese after the U20 World Cup is also expected to follow a similar route.
