Thirty-eight year old Mrs Georgina Nkrumah Aboah, an educationist, has been confirmed as the District Chief Executive for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa (AOB) .
She polled 41 out of the 43 votes, representing 97 per cent, in an election conducted by officials of the Central Regional Electoral Commission led by the director, Mr. Samuel Tetteh.
Mrs Aboah, in her acceptance speech, thanked the President for nominating her and pledged to work towards the development of the district.
She also expressed her gratitude to the assembly members for endorsing her.
Mrs Ama Benyiwa-Doe, Central Regional Minister, commended the assembly for confirming the nominee and appealed to them to bury their differences and cooperate with the DCE to develop the area to improve the living standard of the people.
