The Ashanti Regional Branch of the Tertiary Students' Confederacy (TESCON) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Wednesday expressed shock at the death of Mr. Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning.
“TESCON sees the departure of Mr. Baah-Wiredu as a great loss to the nation in view of his contribution to national development.”
This was contained in a statement signed by all the eight TESCON presidents of the various institutions in the region and issued in Kumasi on Wednesday.
The statement extended the condolence of TESCON to the bereaved family and all supporters of the NPP and expressed the hope that they would overcome the shock and pains of the death of the hard working minister.
