A 35-member Black Queens playing squad has been announced to begin preparations tomorrow for the 6th African Women?s Championship (AWC) later in November.
The entirely locally-based squad would begin training at the national camp in Prampram as Mumumi Gamel and his assistant Ben Fokuo attempt to lead Ghana to a first ever African title.
Ghana, the second best team in Africa will be making it a sixth appearance at the Championship to be hosted by Equatorial Guinea from November 15-29.
The Black Queens edged Ivory Coast over a two-leg tie to reach the finals of the 6th African Women's Championship.
Ghana together with six other countries have qualified for the tournament and would join host, Equatorial Guinea for the finals.
