Newmont Ghana gets new Vice President

Newmont Ghana Gold Limited today announced the appointment of Mr. Jeff Huspeni as Regional Vice President for Newmont's African Operations.

Working in the mining industry for nearly three decades, including significant international exposure, Mr. Huspeni has first-hand experience with all of Newmont's global operations. Mr. Huspeni brings the passion, skill and integrity needed to seize the opportunities and meet the challenges of Newmont Ghana in order to achieve the company's vision of becoming The Gold Company of Choice through industry leading performance.

Prior to Jeff Huspeni's appointment as Vice President, African Operations, he served as Vice President, Exploration and Business Development for Newmont Mining Corporation.

During his twenty-six year career with Newmont, Mr. Huspeni served in several other senior executive positions. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Minnesota and a Masters' degree in Geology from the University of Michigan.
