The Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Ghana has entered into a partnership with the Sister Kingdom Network (SKN) to advance initiatives aimed at strengthening Ghana–Ethiopia relations through Pan-African connectivity, cultural exchange, diaspora engagement, and tourism promotion.
The partnership was discussed during a meeting held in Accra on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, between the Embassy's Acting Head of Mission, Mr Agaazi Brhane, and a delegation from the Sister Kingdom Network.
The SKN delegation was led by its Supreme Convenor, Dr Tengol K. Kplemani, and included Wenawome Aborah Duriyem, Managing Director of Kacstone Records, as well as Alexander Bombande.
Discussions centred on practical areas of collaboration, including the proposed Adwa Legacy Public Lecture and other initiatives designed to strengthen people-to-people ties between Ghana and Ethiopia.
The Embassy welcomed the proposed partnership and expressed its readiness to engage relevant institutions to support the implementation of the planned initiatives.
According to the Supreme Convenor of the Sister Kingdom Network, Dr Tengol K. Kplemani, details of the partnership, including planned activities, implementation arrangements, and timelines, are expected to be announced in the coming days.
The collaboration forms part of SKN's broader commitment to promoting African unity, deepening historical and cultural connections, and fostering strategic partnerships across the continent.
