Isaac Yirenkyi Yeboah, popularly known as Kenya De MC, has received a vehicle to support his work as Chief Executive Officer of the Lemon Family Foundation, particularly in coordinating educational support programmes and other activities in Elmina and neighbouring communities.
The vehicle was presented by David Duron, Co-founder of the Lemon Group of Companies in Ghana and Developmental Chief of the Edina Traditional Area. Kelvin Kofi Amissah, another co-founder of the group, was also present at the presentation.
In an appreciation post, Mr Duron said the vehicle would improve Kenya De MC’s mobility and make it easier for him to supervise projects and coordinate the foundation’s activities, especially initiatives supporting children from underprivileged backgrounds.
He expressed gratitude to Evička and Joska Dubnovi, MVDr. Dominik Vlach and Madam Jana Vaňátová for their generosity and continued contributions towards the foundation’s mission.
Mr Duron also recognised other individuals contributing to development initiatives in the area, including Michael Kunke, who is leading the Museum Elmina project; Nana Hagan Yeboah, who heads the Elmina Dance Academy; and Kingbell, who previously led the painting project at Nagtglas House.
Kenya De MC is a blogger and philanthropist who leads the Lemon Family Foundation, an organisation dedicated to supporting brilliant but needy schoolchildren in Elmina and surrounding communities.
The foundation has, over the years, provided assistance to more than 70 students annually, covering school fees and other educational expenses to help them continue their education despite financial difficulties.
The vehicle is expected to enhance the foundation’s operational capacity by facilitating travel, improving project coordination and supporting the delivery of educational and community development initiatives.
