The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has attributed a power outage affecting Tetegu and surrounding communities to a technical challenge at Tetegu.
The ECG Accra West Region said its engineers were working to resolve the problem and restore electricity supply to the affected areas.
In a notice issued on Monday, October 19, the company apologised to customers for the disruption and assured them that efforts were underway to address the fault.
“The outage being experienced is as a result of a technical challenge at Tetegu,” the ECG said.
The affected areas include Tetegu, Wassaman, the Police Station area, Tetegu Gas, Miami, Mortuary Man and surrounding communities.
The company said its engineers are working to restore supply as quickly as possible.
“ECG wishes to assure affected customers that our Engineers are working to resolve the challenge and restore supply,” the notice stated.
The ECG expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to affected customers but did not specify when electricity supply would be fully restored.
