The race for the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency chairmanship of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has taken a dramatic turn, with 153 delegates from Ahenema Kokoben Electoral Area declaring total support for Captain (Rtd) Solomon Reuben Jabari.

The delegates, representing 17 polling stations, made their position known on Sunday during a meeting at the residence of the aspiring constituency chairman, in what could provide a major boost to his campaign ahead of the party's upcoming internal elections.

The emphatic endorsement signals growing confidence in Jabari's leadership credentials, with the delegates describing him as the man capable of transforming the constituency's party structures, strengthening grassroots mobilisation and helping the NDC retain power.

Jabari Is the Man for the Job!
The delegates did not mince words in explaining why they had thrown their weight behind the former Island City Electoral Area chairman.

According to them, Jabari has demonstrated genuine commitment to the welfare of party members through financial assistance, development initiatives and administrative support for the NDC.

They argued that his record of service distinguishes him from the other contenders, insisting that his leadership would bring renewed energy and direction to the party in the constituency.

In a strong show of confidence, the delegates described Team JABAR as the most organised campaign team among the groups contesting the various constituency positions.

They pointed to the team's manifesto, which they said contains clearly defined policies and practical interventions designed to improve party administration and strengthen the NDC at the grassroots.

The group also praised Jabari's personal commitment to party activities, claiming that he uses his own resources to support the party rather than seeking to benefit financially from it.

For the delegates, his willingness to sacrifice for the party is evidence of a leadership philosophy centred on service, accountability and the welfare of members.

153 Delegates Promise Jabari Their Votes

Speaking on behalf of the group, Rashid Adu Gyamfi, Chairman of the Quality B Polling Station in Ahenema Kokoben, gave a firm assurance that all 153 delegates were ready to vote for Captain Jabari in the forthcoming constituency elections.

He expressed appreciation to the retired military officer for accepting the challenge to contest the chairmanship position, describing his decision as an opportunity for the party to secure a leader committed to its progress.

The declaration from the 17 polling stations could strengthen Jabari's campaign as aspirants intensify their efforts to win the confidence of delegates across Atwima Kwanwoma.

Jabari: Victory Is Within Reach
Responding to the endorsement, an excited Captain (Rtd) Solomon Reuben Jabari described the delegates' declaration as full and total support, expressing gratitude for the confidence reposed in him.

He disclosed that other polling stations were also expected to declare their support for him and fellow aspirants contesting under the Team JABAR banner.

According to Jabari, the developments surrounding his campaign give him confidence that he is on course to win the constituency chairmanship race, while his team is determined to secure victories in the other positions it is contesting.

He expressed optimism that Team JABAR would perform strongly in the elections, insisting that the collective effort of its aspirants would help deliver a significant breakthrough for the group.

Unity Will Be My Priority
Despite the growing momentum behind his campaign, Jabari emphasised that his ultimate objective was not merely to win an election but to build a stronger and more united NDC.

He maintained that the party must be treated as one family, urging members to put aside their differences and work together for the collective good.

He assured delegates and party faithful that promoting peace, unity and cooperation would be central to his leadership, adding that internal divisions could undermine the party's ability to mobilise effectively at the grassroots.

Jabari said a united NDC would be better positioned to consolidate its gains, strengthen its structures and retain political power.

With 153 delegates from 17 polling stations now publicly backing his candidature, attention is turning to how the endorsement could influence the wider contest for the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency chairmanship.

For Team JABAR, the message from Ahenema Kokoben is clear: the campaign is gathering momentum, and its supporters are determined to translate their endorsement into votes at the ballot box.
