A dedicated and long-serving member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in South Tongu, Comrade Sebastian Dzakpasu, has officially filed his nomination to contest the position of Deputy Regional Treasurer of the Volta Regional NDC.
The nomination was filed on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the party's Regional Secretariat in Ho, ahead of the upcoming regional elections.

He has assured that if given the mandate, he will work collaboratively with the Regional Treasurer and other regional executives to promote sound financial practices across the region.
He is expected to focus particularly on strengthening accountability mechanisms and encouraging responsible resource mobilization to support the party’s programmes and activities in all 18 constituencies of the Volta Region.
As the regional elections approach, Comrade Dzakpasu has reaffirmed his commitment to engaging delegates and articulating his vision centered on responsible financial administration.
His campaign team is therefore calling on all party stakeholders, especially delegates, to rally behind his vision for a resounding victory.
