Loving your candidate goes beyond chanting their name. True loyalty is shown by protecting their future and respecting the party that will provide the platform for their success.
It is natural to be excited about potential parliamentary candidates. That excitement shows our party is alive and attractive. However, when this enthusiasm turns into unauthorized and premature campaigns, it becomes a distraction we cannot afford.
Our strength as a political family lies in our discipline. Respect for the party's rules and regulations is what guarantees fairness, protects everyone, and strengthens our internal democracy. Without discipline, we create cracks that our opponents will exploit.
We collectively chose our new national executives and entrusted them with the responsibility of leading our rebuilding process. We gave them the mandate to make bold and decisive decisions for the collective good of the party and its members. We must now allow them to work.
No leadership can succeed in isolation. They need our cooperation, our patience, and our support. To succeed together, we must move together.
We are at a crucial stage. We are rebuilding, reconnecting, and reorganizing to become stronger than before. This is not the time for internal contests that divide our attention and resources. This is the time to focus on the bigger picture.
That is why it is imperative that we all respect the directive against premature parliamentary campaigns. Let us pause personal ambitions for now and invest our time and energy in building a stronger, more united party.
When the time is right for campaigns, there will be a level playing field for all. For now, let us put the party first.
Our unity is our greatest asset.
