The Ghana Education Service (GES) says about 800 applicants seeking promotion to the ranks of Director I and Director II have yet to receive updates because the telephone numbers provided in their applications cannot be reached.
Daniel Fenyi of the GES headquarters said the Service had already sent messages to applicants regarding the next stage of the promotion process.
He explained that those who had not received any communication should not assume that their applications had been overlooked, as the main challenge was the inability of the GES team to reach them on the contact numbers provided.
“If you applied for the rank of Director II or Director I and have not yet received any feedback from GES, please take note of the following update,” he said.
Mr Fenyi said repeated attempts to contact the affected applicants had been unsuccessful because the numbers submitted during the application process were unreachable.
“If you have not received a text message, it is because the contact number you provided in your application is unreachable. All attempts made by the team to contact you have been unsuccessful,” he said.
He disclosed that approximately 800 applicants were affected and urged them to submit their current contact information to enable the GES to reach them.
“If you are among these applicants, kindly send your full name, staff ID and ACTIVE phone number to [email protected] or send it to the team on 0593385729,” he said.
Mr Fenyi assured the affected applicants that the team would contact them after receiving their updated details and provide them with the necessary information on the next steps in the process.
