The Ministry of Health is set to conduct a nationwide mop-up recruitment exercise to fill vacancies created by applicants who have failed to report to their assigned districts and health facilities.
The exercise is scheduled for Monday, October 5, 2026, at 11am, according to a notice issued on October 3 and signed by the Ministry’s spokesperson, Tony Goodman.
The Ministry has announced a total of 432 available slots under the recruitment exercise.
Nursing professionals account for 429 of the vacancies, with 266 positions available at teaching hospitals, 133 at Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG) facilities and 30 under the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
The remaining 36 positions are for pharmacy professionals, comprising five pharmacist positions and 31 pharmaceutical technician vacancies.
The Ministry has urged interested applicants to participate in the exercise through its recruitment portal.
