New Patriotic Party Nhyiaeso constituency chairman, Mr Kwadjo Owusu Bempah has presented a cash donation of GH₵50,000 to assist 30 underprivileged students in the Nhyiaeso constituency who are enrolling in Senior High School (SHS).
The financial intervention is designed to cover essential costs, including school prospectuses, uniforms, learning materials for the needy students.
Additionally, the supoort is to cater for personal supplies of the students, easing the financial burden on low-income families as their children transition to secondary education under the government’s Free SHS framework.
Speaking at a brief presentation ceremony held at the party’s constituency office in Kumasi, Mr. Bempah urged the beneficiaries to prioritize their studies and make full use of the opportunity.
"Education remains the greatest equalizer," Bempah noted.
He added that "this support is an investment in your future. I urge you all to focus on your books, stay disciplined, and excel so you can return to serve your community and the nation as responsible citizens."
Gratitude
Expressing gratitude on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr. Akwasi Amoako, a former Ashanti Regional Representative for the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), commended Chairman Bempah for his benevolent gesture.
He however urged the students to honor the chairman’s generosity through academic excellence.
