Why Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia Is Described As A Generational Thinker!

H. E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is known widely for his transformational ideas that some advanced countries are yet to implement. He is a man full of possibilities. When he brings out ideas, people initially doubt them, simply because such ideas have never been implemented anywhere in the world or few countries in the world have tried those ideas.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's ideas are largely anchored on digitization of all aspects of the economy and have been proven overtime to be game-changing ideas worth emulating by even advanced countries. Yes, he birthed medical drone delivery services in Ghana that have provided healthcare services to hard-to-reach communities across the country, saving lives of many vulnerable population. This policy was later adopted by advanced countries like UK, U.S, Japan, among others.

Before the implementation of the national identification system in Ghana, Dr. Bawumia saw the need to have digital address system in place - making it easy to properly trace individuals to their proper locations, properties and other advantages accompanying it. Some people with impossible mentality doubted it and it came to pass.

For effective management of the economy, transparent and accountable governance, Dr. Bawumia saw the need to have a system that facilitates public sector transactions seamlessly with effective and efficient service delivery across board, hence, the idea and implementation of Ghana.Gov platform. Today, we woke up to read the news that the 'Almighty' United States has just launched a similar platform Dr. Bawumia launched for Ghana five years ago. I believe by now you understand why Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is widely known as a Generational Thinker.

At the moment, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia manages the economy in opposition. His Domestic Gold Purchase Program initiated as a Vice President is currently the program saving the Ghanaian economy from collapsing. The ruling government have admitted that such idea through GoldBod (previously PMMC under Nana/Bawumia government) and Bank of Ghana is saving the Cedi now. His idea of Gold for Reserve program unarguably is doing wonders.

Remember that this current NDC government in October, 2025 had to secretly sell the reserved gold ('Dr. Bawumia's gold') at the Bank of Ghana to support the running of the economy. Dr. Bawumia is an asset to the world not only Ghana. He is indeed a Generational Thinker, man full of possibilities and generational ideas.
