Nhyiaeso NPP executives pay courtesy call on Samira Bawumia, reaffirm support for Bawumia ahead of 2028.

A delegation of New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency executives from Nhyiaeso in the Ashanti Region paid a courtesy call on former Second Lady Hajia Samira Bawumia at her office in Accra.

The visit aimed to foster party unity, pledge allegiance to the party's leadership, and support ongoing social intervention programs across the country.

Led by Nhyiaeso Constituency Chairman Kwadjo Owusu Bempah, the delegation formally committed to supporting Hajia Samira Bawumia’s philanthropic initiatives.

They also commended Samira for her community projects centered on women's empowerment and maternal welfare which she actively champions through her non-governmental organization, the Samira Education and Women Empowerment Network (SEWEN).

Constituency Chairman
Addressing the former Second Lady, Mr. Bempah reiterated the executive committee's dedication to mobilizing local party structures to secure victory for the NPP's flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the 2028 presidential election.

"We are deeply grateful for your warm reception. On behalf of the Nhyiaeso NPP constituency executives, I pledge our total commitment to working tirelessly on the ground to project Dr. Bawumia’s vision and secure victory in the 2028 presidential polls," Bempah declared.

He added, "equally, we stand ready to support your office in driving developmental programs aimed at improving the welfare of women and vulnerable groups."

Responding to the delegation, Hajia Samira Bawumia expressed her appreciation for the visit and lauded the Nhyiaeso executives for their proactive leadership and loyalty to the party.

She charged the executives to remain steadfast in their duties, maintain grassroots engagement, and uphold the principles of the NPP to ensure the party remains strong at the constituency level.

"I am profoundly grateful for your visit today and for your steadfast commitment to my husband, Dr. Bawumia," Hajia Samira stated.

She added, "as we look ahead, our collective efforts will be crucial in demonstrating to the Ghanaian people that the NPP remains the party with the vision, policies, and track record to lead this nation forward."

She particularly commended Chairman Owusu Bempah for his selflessness and continued dedication to public service and community welfare in Nhyiaeso.
