NDC to open nominations for 2026 regional executive elections on October 6

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will open nominations for its 2026 Regional Executive Elections on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, kicking off the party's internal process for electing regional executives.

The party announced the opening in a statement issued on Tuesday, September 29, and urged members who intend to contest the various positions to do so within the prescribed period.

"This marks an important stage in the Party's electoral process, and all members who intend to contest for the various Regional Executive positions are encouraged to take full advantage of the process within the prescribed period," the statement said.

Payments Only Through NDC Online Portal

According to the NDC, payments for nomination forms and filing fees must be made through its online portal, forms.ghanandc.com, using Mobile Money, Visa or MasterCard.

"Bank payments and bank drafts will not be accepted," the party stated.

Aspirants Must Be Members in Good Standing

The party said aspirants, as well as their proposers, seconders and endorsers, must be members in good standing who have fully paid their membership dues.

Members with outstanding dues have been directed to clear their arrears by dialling 92025# or through the party's online dues platform.

NDC Calls for Discipline

The NDC also urged aspirants and members to maintain discipline throughout the process.

"The Party urges all aspirants and members to conduct themselves with discipline, decorum and respect for the Party's democratic values throughout the electoral process," the statement said.
