The Unprecedented African mentality and its abuse to Africans

The first part is about names - is about who controls the story. The same action gets a heroic name when one group does it, it‘s and a criminal name when the other does it, it‘s a different name. For instance:

Non-African in Africa is a Voyager vs. African in the diasporan is Illegal,

Non-African in the African forest is a hunter vs. An African hunter is a Poacher,

Non-African in Africa is an expat vs. African in the diaspora ia a Foreigner.

It's not just words, it decides who is seen as belonging and who is seen as a problem. If you're African living in the European, USA, Canada, and Asia (diaspora), you feel that every day.

You are working, paying tax, raising family, but the system still calls you "Migrant", even after 10 years, while someone who moved from Europe, USA, Canada, and Asia to Africa for 6 months for business is an "expat.

The second part is about language - is even more personal. It‘s very obvious, that nowhere else in the world do people insult their own for not speaking a foreign language. You will never hear a French man call another French man dumb because his English is bad.

In most parts if Africa and in the diaspora, we internalized it. English or French became not just a tool, but the proof that you are smart, that you are modern, that your child is doing well in school. So we punish kids for speaking local languages in school, but we don't punish schools for failing to teach farming that could feed the child today and in the future.

The trap is, English or French is useful for jobs. The mental slavery is not speaking English. The slavery is believing that if you don't speak it, you are worthless. The healthiest families I see here do both, they are very intentional at home, they try as much as possible to speak their own local African language as well as their current abode language.
