Vera Oye Bram-Larbi, a former ally of Alan Kyerematen and a candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Youth Organiser position, says she regrets ever considering leaving the party to follow the former Trade Minister.
Bram-Larbi criticised Kyerematen’s political leadership and his movement, claiming that his approach had negatively affected some young people who followed him.
“God saved me from leaving the NPP to follow Alan Kyerematen,” she said in an interview on UTV monitored by MyNewsGh.com.
Bram-Larbi also accused Kyerematen of misleading young people into joining his political movement instead of empowering them.
She further claimed that his political decisions had jeopardised the future prospects of some of the young people who followed him.
Vera is running for the NPP National Youth Organiser position.
She is one of six candidates contesting the position in the party’s October 3, 2026 national executive elections.
