Why any German democrat must stand against Ghana's nonsense

The SPD, the Social Democratic Party of Germany, the oldest in Germany, was the only political party that stood on 24. March 1933 against the Emergency Laws of Adolf Hitler, which saw him one year later on 2. August 1934 to be the Führer and Reichskanzler (German Chancellor) of Germany. One day on 25. August 1933, all SPD MPs were killed. The main enemies of Adolf Hitler were the Jews.

Pegida, a right-wing movement, Anti-Migrants, in October 2014 took to the streets of Germany. In 2015, Germany witnessed an influx of 1,5 Mio. civil war Syrian refugees joining 800.000 Afghan refugees, not knowing that in February 2022 up to another 800.000 Ukrainian refugees would join the wagon of asylum seekers for very good reason, to save their own lives.

AfD, Alternative für Deutschland, a right-wing party that has replaced Pegida, is about to win the election in Sachsen-Anhalt this Sunday to form a new government. Adolf Hitler carefully masterminded his way to power to use the weak democratic system of the young Weimar Republic to write world history with 60 Mio. deaths on the battlefields and 6 Mio. Jews killed. He used the law before resorting to violence and killings.

Ghana is proud of itself for being the most peaceful and most democratic country in all of Africa. Around 80% of all Sub-Saharan Africans originate from Ghana in all 100.000 in Germany. Data available do not reveal how many have come to Germany to join their spouses, stayed after finishing study and training or entered Germany with a work contract and how many have secured a residence permit after their initial illegal status. While very many have well integrated into German society, even as politicians in German parliaments, most have come to look for greener pastures. In the absence of civil war in Ghana or war imposed by foreign nations on the West African country, nor torture or the death penalty and restriction of Freedom of speech, AfD and other right-wing parties and movements use the momentum of illegal and legal migrants to win votes.

German government supports Ghana and other African nations with money and technical know-how to sustain their developing status, ensuring not to raise strong competitors bringing Germany down. If German democrats want to honour the sacrifices of the 94 brave men and women of the SPD who stood against Adolf Hitler, they need to voice their concern in and around Germany.
