The USA, China and Europe sing the same old Frank Sinatra song „I did it my way. The end is near...I did it my way.“
Investing in the USA, Europe and China is investing into the past. When Empires trample and fall, trumpets play the same old song to announce it: „I did it my way. The end is near...I did it my way.“ The signs are clear; the end is near. These countries have reached the peak of success, and in three to four generations the song will be adapted to „The end has come...I did it my way.“ Investors willing to pick up the last crumbs from the floor of history are entitled to bend their backs in pain and hope the moment will pass them as Jesus Christ did on the cross at Good Friday in Calgary.
A mother walks for nine months among her people and on the day of delivery is in serious pain. Her newborn child, squeezed all around the body, feels pain equally while never remembering it later in life. As if it were a miracle, the newborn cries and is hungry for milk. The cycle of life is not a miracle as such but history unfolding. Humans can plan and time it, while God alone is the decision maker. Surely he will give birth to the next generation to rule the world. What seems to man a miracle is for God history in continuous making. Man comes and goes, leads and at old age is taken care of by the new generation.
Unlike present superpowers, Africa is trenchant in corruption, mismanagement, destruction, misuse from outsiders and new elites, unreliable financial, social, political and justice systems. A continent in pain. This painful time of pregnancy is when the mother needs the father most by her side. It is a time when relationships are tested the most, whether they will make it together as a couple and parents to reach old age in peace and prosperity. When rocking the chairs together before time catches up with them to sing for the very last time: „We did it our way...And the end is near!“ they will know two hearts beating together make a life worthwhile living.
What seems to be madness today, the impossible will soon sing the old Frank Sinatra song „I did it my way.“ Good, wise fathers understand when to stand loyal and in support of his pregant wife to go with her through the pain to glory. These fathers will stand together to sing the song their way: “The end has come... to make way for a new beginning.“
