Chocolate: When the black man manages his own affairs

Chocolate: When the black man manages his own affairs

Ghana produces the best cocoa in the world, and when allowed to love vanilla to tie the knot between organically grown cocoa and vanilla roots, God's joy in heaven is dancing his heart out.

Chocolate production is not rocket science, as recipes and machinery are available from many places. Money can buy what love and passion for cocoa and chocolate cannot. The spirit of chocolate is invested in dedicated individuals. Ghana's cocoa beans are tired when reaching Hamburg, Germany seeing many dead already. Before European chocolate manufacturers produce second-, third-, or fourth-grade chocolate, dead beans get destroyed in Hamburg Port. The beans that make it to the production lines in Europe dream of their freshness at the source of production in Ghana, wishing they could have put on the most fashionable dress in their home country to be world-class chocolates the world so far has never seen. Like their humans, they are forced to migrate to Europe. Where they are valued and taken good care of.

In Hamburg, Germany, the Chocoversum in the Speicherstadt is an active museum which shows visitors and tourists the art of chocolate making with the chance to produce individually made chocolate bars themselves. A chocolate fountain attracts open children's mouths, leaving a lasting memory in the hearts and minds of children, the future generation of chocolate consumers. In Cologne, another chocolate museum is open to the public and chocolate festivals are celebrated across Europe and North America.

CPC Cocoa Processing Company Limited, Tema, SOE subsidised annually with $ 12-14 Mio. produces chocolate for dead bodies which can build durable, strong houses. Other local companies in Ghana produce chocolate smoother in texture but with marketing failures. For Ghana to be recognised as the world champion of chocolate production, the state must do more: Chocolate City, Chocolate Museum, Chocolate World Championship, Chocolate Queen, Chocolate Trail, Chocolate Parade, among others.

Galamsey, illegal mining, kills the economy and the environment. Party politics kills cocoa and chocolate on top. When the black man is free...he can manage his own affairs. Hamburg and the Chocoversum prove we manage the chocolate sector for him.
