COKA is the right man to lead Ashanti NPP as chairman – Afigya Kwabre North MP

The Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabre North, Collins Adomako-Mensah, has thrown his support behind Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, describing him as the ideal candidate to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region.

The lawmaker said the party needs a leader with the experience, vision and ability to unite its members and rebuild its organisational strength ahead of future electoral contests.

Speaking during COKA’s campaign tour, Mr Adomako-Mensah said the former NPP constituency chairman possesses the leadership qualities required to guide the party through what he described as a crucial period.

He emphasised that unity among party members would be essential to restoring the NPP’s fortunes in the region, stressing the need for a regional chairman who can bring all factions together.

“At this critical point in the party, COKA is the right person to lead the party as the regional chairperson,” he said.

“Chairman Odeneho has the qualities of a good leader which will help rescue the party at this important stage,” he added.

The Afigya Kwabre North MP expressed confidence that COKA’s experience and leadership record would help reposition the NPP and strengthen its structures across the Ashanti Region.

Odeneho Kwaku Appiah is contesting the position of Ashanti Regional Chairman in the NPP’s upcoming regional executive elections.
