The Sarkin Hausawa of Germany Diaspora Europe, Sarki Alhaji Abubakar Siddiq also known as Landlord, has called on Ghanaians affected by the recent floods to remain hopeful, saying the country will overcome the current challenges through unity, compassion and collective support.
In a goodwill message to flood victims, Alhaji Siddiq expressed sympathy to families who had suffered losses as a result of the disaster and urged communities across the country to stand with those affected.
He said although the floods had brought pain and hardship to many households, they had also presented an opportunity for Ghanaians to demonstrate the country's enduring spirit of togetherness.
"Our brothers and sisters who have been affected by the floods should know that they are not alone. This is a time to support one another, pray for one another and stand together as one people," he said.
The traditional leader encouraged victims not to lose hope, describing their courage and resilience in the face of adversity as an inspiration to the nation.
He offered prayers for Allah's protection over affected families and asked for divine healing for those who had sustained injuries or suffered emotional trauma.
Alhaji Siddiq also prayed for Allah to provide for those who had lost their homes, businesses and livelihoods, restore what had been destroyed and grant peace to grieving families and communities.
He stressed that every Ghanaian had a role to play in supporting flood victims, saying acts of kindness and solidarity would help accelerate the recovery process.
"Every life, every home and every story matters. Together, we will rebuild and emerge stronger from this difficult period," he stated.
The Sarkin Hausawan of Germany Diaspora Europe further expressed confidence that with determination, national unity and sustained support for victims, Ghana would recover from the disaster and build more resilient communities.
He prayed for Allah to grant flood victims strength, protection and relief as they rebuild their lives.
