The Alagumgube Association, a leading cultural and development-oriented organization committed to promoting the heritage, unity, and progress of its people, demonstrated its unwavering support for cultural preservation by participating in the ongoing Ananoore Rivalry 2026 at OLA Parish in Bolgatanga.

The Association was represented by its African Executive Chairman, Mr. Richard Abanga, accompanied by Aloysius Atibila, Margaret Atamprugre, Nafisah Akonbangre Allanssan, Dorothy (Diasa Queen), and Akariborga Issac.

During the event, the delegation conveyed the Association’s heartfelt connection with Buree Yela and applauded the organizers for creating a platform that celebrates the rich cultural traditions, values, and identity of the people. The delegation noted that cultural heritage remains a powerful tool for promoting unity, social cohesion, and community development.

Addressing participants and supporters, the Association encouraged the management team and competing groups to remain dedicated to the objectives of the Ananoore Rivalry and continue inspiring the younger generation to appreciate and preserve their cultural roots. The delegation emphasized that the future of every community depends on its ability to protect and promote its cultural identity.

The Alagumgube Association further reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that foster cultural education, community empowerment, and sustainable development. The delegation assured organizers and participants that the Association stands fully behind the Ananoore Rivalry and its vision of strengthening cultural pride and unity among the people.

As a sign of solidarity and encouragement, the Association donated packs of bottled water and assorted soft drinks to the organizers and participating teams. The gesture was warmly welcomed and reflected the Association’s commitment to supporting worthwhile cultural initiatives across the region.

The visit served as another demonstration of Alagumgube Association’s continuous efforts to champion cultural preservation, promote community engagement, and build partnerships that contribute to the social and economic development of the people.
