The High Council of the Adenta Municipal Zongo and Tribal Queen Mothers Association has presented a citation of honour to the Adentan Municipal Chief Imam, Sheikh Mohammed Mutawakil Abubakar, for his exceptional leadership within the municipality.
The honour, conferred at a brief ceremony, recognises Sheikh Mutawakil’s commitment, leadership, and dedicated service to the Muslim community in the municipality.
According to the Council, the citation is in appreciation of his “effort and commitment” and his steadfast support for Muslim brothers and sisters, particularly during critical moments.
The Council noted that Sheikh Mutawakil has demonstrated calmness, humility, and a strong spirit of charity in the discharge of his duties, qualities they believe distinguish true leadership.
“Titles do not make a person a leader; impact does,” the citation emphasised, highlighting the positive influence he continues to exert in the community.
The association further commended his gentle disposition and charitable works, expressing confidence that his leadership will continue to strengthen unity and promote moral guidance within Adenta and beyond.
The citation was jointly signed by the President of the High Council, Wuro Adam Salifu Bimor Issor, and the Chairwoman, Memunatu Shaibu.
They prayed for Allah’s continued protection and blessings upon Sheikh Mutawakil.
